Hey guys is it possibke to get the new style key for the pre-facelift W205? and if so how much money will it cost?

Why'd you want to? Those keys are ugly. Besides, new models have the start button permanently embedded into the car. In w205 you can still start the car with your key.

ya I wanted to do it as well but after hearing the price I'm like stuff that.. you can do it for $500 USD there have black and white video below

Damn $500 is a lot of money. And I don't think anyone would pay that much just for a key. but just for info, will the new key work on the pre-facelift if you program it for the car, or does it require a modified old key. Cause you can find the pre-facelift key for like $15 then you need to program it, which I assume you'd need the dealer for right?

Give it a few months and the Chinese will make a case that you can put your older key inside to get that new look.

Unfortunately we have to autoclave all the keys coming from China, and they don't work well after they cool down.

It's too bad there aren't any Dutch cars that you could sit in and enjoy a Heineken, since they stopped making the DAF.
