I have a C450. I bought it used with 19,500 miles November 2018. I have about 27,000 miles on it now. I got it over a C300 because it has the 6 cyl engine. I love it other than a few minor things, which I think plague these cars.
My major complaint is the amount of rattles and creaks in the car. The dealer was not much of help to fix those.
Also, make sure it has the upgraded sound system. The previous owner got the performance seats, rear shades and the perfume in the glove compartment instead of the better sound system.
Lastly, I have to say that some of the plastics, like the kick panels, are made of cheap plastic and they scratch easy.
Can you share the spec's of the car and how much it is listed for?

you need some felt tape. My C400 was the same but it is whisper quiet now!

The problem is locating the rattles and creaks. The dealer was so mad with me because I kept going every two weeks for them to fix the rattles. The service adviser gave me two feet of mercedes felt and told me to try fixing it myself. Sometimes I feel like the techs and shop foreman are useless now a days. (no offense to any one who works that job and is good)

I haven't heard anyone else discuss this (or did I miss something?). You're saying we can take our car to the dealer for a FREE warranty replacement of the pano roof rails, as an upgrade, even if there is nothing wrong with the existing rails? Did you actually have this done? Thanks.

And yes I did. There was nothing wrong with my roof but while the dealer had it they showed me the old version wobbles and that MB will cover it. So they did.

Thanks. Has anyone else had this experience or service? If so, can you share with us your knowledge. With all the horror stories about the pano roof this sounds like a great opportunity. Half this forum is afraid to open their roof for fear of failure.

I called the dealer(MB of Walnut Creek) where I purchased my 2016 c300 CPO. They stated there is no current recall or update on my cars roof rails.

I had a 2015 C300 for about a year. I had the strange Burmester audio problem that took a software update and tweeter to be replaced. The internal cabin creaks and noises drove me crazy going over all types of roads. I didnt have any panoramic issues but I recommend for you to test the car with audio loud to see how the speakers are and see the cabin noise when you drive bumpy roads.
