2015 C63s Edition 1 doesnt qualify for the ME app

So I purchased a 2015 C63S Edition 1. The mercedes me app won't let me connect because my vin needs to verified. After i called they said I have to take my car to the dealershiop to get a Telematic software update for the app to work. I go to the dealership and they tell me my car is too old and doesn't have the app capabilities. So I ask "What can I do to get remote start for my car since Arizona is above 100 degrees for many months?" The master mechanic told me I would have to buy a newer car. The C-Class did not come with these features until 2017.
So Mercedes made an $80k car in 2015 that can't be started remotely? If this is true should I go buy a 2006 Honda accord that came with remote start from the factory??

Sound about right. Actually, Mercedes Me app started to support C class from 2016 and above. My non amg car has remote start and it works with a bit of a delay, but it always works. This was one of the reasons why I looked for 2016 and up a year ago, especially how 2015 c class have several huge issues like the timing chain, wrist pin issue, window malfunctions etc.

We'll be able to cover your vehicle in about 2-3 weeks when we roll out that vehicle platform coverage.
