Does the CPO extended warranty cover interior cosmetic failures - see pics
I've got a couple of issue that shouldn't be happening and I am curious if my CPO would cover them. The armrest chrome is bubbling and the headliner is separating. Has anyone had any cosmetic items fixed under the CPO? The black on my steering wheel is also peeling as well..

The CPO warranty covers specific listed items/parts. Interior trim is not listed, but item 3.3 states-
“ANY SERVICING, REPAIRS OR REPLACEMENTS FOR ANY "DEFECTS" IN MATERIAL OR WORKMANSHIP WILL BE MADE AS DETERMINED BY MBUSA, USING NEW OR REMANUFACTURED GENUINE MERCEDES-BENZ PARTS AT MBUSA'S SOLE DISCRETION.”
I would bring it in and nicely ask if the items would be covered. If push comes to shove, you could perhaps argue that they are defects in material/workmanship. Any one else have thoughts on this issue?

Under the current US CPO policy - your dealer needs to write up a CPO claim for each item - which they submit to MBUSA for approval for each item. The dealer is not given the authority to determine what is covered under CPO and what is not.
Dealer's also have their own "Goodwill fund" - so if MBUSA denies - and you have a "friendly dealer" they might be able to help some,
