Excludive Grill
The auction above has already ended but it gives you an idea of what to look for.
Here are the steps I followed when I removed mine. I didn't replace it though because I love the unique look of the dynamic shutters.
- Remove the license plate holder (if equipped)
- Remove 5 T20 (Torx) screws along the top of the grille (three at the top edge and one at each end)
- Reach behind the grille and unplug the electrical connector (if it has the dynamic shutters)
- Release about five or six plastic clips from behind along the bottom edge of the grille while pulling the grille away from the bumper with gentle force. This is the trickiest part because a couple of the clips are hard to reach. I used a long flat bladed screwdriver to hit each tab.
When reaching behind the grille to work, be very careful not to hit the radiator to avoid damaging any of the radiator fins.
