Has anyone ever removed headliner? Just ordered parts to install stars on roof on a 2016 c300?any help appreciated

 

It's not an easy job. I see Texas plates. What city are you in? If you're near San Antonio I see on lots of forums that the Peña Brothers have a reputation for being really good and reasonable pricing with headliner work.

 

I’m out of El Paso and yeah I’ve seen a couple YouTube videos not too easy but figured I’d try.

 

Install stars on roof? Quite interesting. Can you please share this action. Do you have a picture. I have seen Illuminated star, led door projector but stars on roof?

 

Pictures don’t do it justice but I figured since I wasn’t able to get the sunroof.

Hi. I have a w205 2015 and I’m having problems with my sunroof, It won’t open. Not even using the tools removing the upper dash. Could you give me instructions how to remove the headliner since there’s any anywhere. Thank you

 

send me a message on ig @300benzo for faster response but i kinda winged it as you stated no instructions anywhere. had to remove all interior handles and lights unplugged alot pops off after that not to difficult. if you can take a picture of your headliner mine had no sunroof so may be different.

Former Benz tech here. Good luck. Its a pain in the ***. You need to remove the cover directly above the rear view mirror. You also need to remove all the grab handles in the roof. From there, the headliner is held on by magnets arounf the sun roof/roofs. It doesnt come out easy and you wont be able to remove the headliner from the inside of the vehicle at all unless the back glass or windshield is removed. its also pretty stiff getting the magnets fully seated. i could walk you through the process in more detail if youd like. the first time you do it, expect 4-6+ hours.
