I've noticed that if too much time passes between sending the destination and starting the car, the destination sometimes doesn't arrive. Other than that there is no special condition. I haven't used it in a while, but in the past it also has failed sometimes. There are actually two scenarios to be aware of with this feature. If you use it outside of the car, then the destination gets sent over the Internet and should pop within about 30 seconds after the engine is started. If you use it in the car with the COMAND system already powered on and your phone connected, the destination is sent over Bluetooth if the corresponding setting is turned on in the app. It's on by default as far as I know. I actually tend to use it more often when I'm already in the car. I look up the destination and send it, and then it almost immediately pops up. I've kinda stopped sending the destination in advance. It does seem to not always arrive in the car when doing it that way.

My Send2Benz has never worked. I spent 6-7 calls to customer service to get it resolved, all but one of those calls resulted in nothing but trying to upsell me with no solution even offered.
One rep had the classless gall to tell me "Oh we se lots of vehicle theft in your zip code you really must buy our next level service to track your car when it gets stolen". I live in a private gated city with its own private security and police force, we have zero crime and no car theft.
One call a rep actually transferred me to the technical support department. A tech worked on a few things and said the issue was resolved but it wasn't. Bottom line, Send2Benz is glitch filled even if you can get it to work occasionaly.
