Should I purchase extended warranty on a C300?
The dealer quoted me $3149 CAD + tax for 3 year of ELW (extended limited warranty) and they aren't willing to budge on the price. I love my car and it's been pretty problem-free aside from one or two trips to the dealer for minor fixes.
How reliable are everyone else's W205 C300 4Matic's?
Would you recommend purchasing extended warranty for the peace of mind or should I just keep $3000 in the bank account instead for a rainy day car fund? It's a German car and I'm worried about issues with engine(turbo) and transmission and suspension, which could cost a pretty penny to fix.

Here in the US - the price for Mercedes ELW of original New Car Warranty - cost is based on time and total mileage. Example 3yrs ELW up to 75,000 miles, 3Yrs/100K miles total, etc.
Frankly in USD - your 3Yr ELW (unknown as to total mileage) is USD$2350 - and that's cheap !

My car is at 120k & I can't see how I would still have had it without Mercedes extended warranty ! It's worth every penny and more , so sad that people on here are discouraging you.

I'm not sure if it's telling me to get or not to get extended warranty but I took it in for service B + brake flush today; and CEL came on. Brought it in and apparently they need to replace the vent kit (in or around) the engine. $600~ parts and a full day labor; would've cost me $1500~ but luckily I still have a week left til my factory warranty ends. I guess its one less thing to fix within extended warranty.
