2019 C Class 220d 4matic
Follow me home lights
Hi all
first time Mercedes owner. Just picked up a 2019 C Class 220d AMG Line Estate
just getting used to it but surprised it doesn’t have follow me home lights. When you switch off at night it’s pitch black walking to the door (well will be in winter)
on my last car a JCW Clubman You could flick the high beam when you got out and it would stay on for 60 secs. It was the same when unlocked you could set it for the headlights to come on as you walk to the car.
anyone know if this is possible?

If you have COMAND, under vehicle, see if you can set exterior delayed light or interior delayed light.

Yes I have the COMAND system. Activated the two as you mentioned but they only leave on the interior Lights and puddle lights, not the headlights

On my car, the headlights stay on along with puddle light when I enable exterior option. I hate how it drains 0.1 volt so it's been off for awhile now.

That is strange. My 2016 with the basic Audio20 system links the headlights with the puddle lights for delayed off at night:

It does seem strange. It has the new multi beam lights so wonder if they have changed it because of that.

They lose the options over the years, I've got a 2014, the sunglass holder is flock lined, they're not anymore.
