w205 retrofit digital instrument cluster plus NTG5.5
hello guys, did some of you tried to upgrade virtual cockpit (digital instrument cluster) it looks just plug and play and also if this is done with used parts of facelift maybe good be handy to continue and also upgrade radio plus display, maybe also mbux voice control and carplay would work?
I see it on swap 4 parts and should be done:
- instrument cluster
- radio
- display
- and card reader
what do you think please?

it looks that nobody is upgrading car 
what I found out is, that also rear camera needs to be changed or firmware upgrade
if anyone is interested in
instrument cluster about 1100USD others I dont know yet.

changing itself it not big deal I would say, what could be problem is to get good appropriate part numbers of all equipment, for example for me:
digital instrument cluster A2059004842 - price from dealer 1200eur
comand A2229003021 - price from dealer 2772eur
display for comand A2059000441 - price from dealer 815eur
new steering wheel - (don't know part number but depend if you want amg or not, vibro or not, normal airbag or leather) - roughly from 1600eur plus
Steering Wheel Retrofit Adapter - NOT MERCEDES PRODUCT - 230eur
rear camera - dont know part number or price
card reader - dont know part number - price roughly 100eur
just for info: I dont have HUD, nor line assist or adaptive cruise control
what really surprised me is, when I was searching comand online, it appears comand w205 (A2229003021) is the same as for E class or S class, don't you know guys if is the same stuff or? Thanks

then i found that maybe it is possible to upgrade with the real w205 cockpit.
contact nico benz on facebook for price and support. I spent about 1000 euros.
I do not recommend on w205 station wagon you always see the logo of the s-class sedan and coupe '. s class s.w. does not exist.
today I discover this video.
I contacted him and mine asked for 3600 euros. what do you think ?

I´ve doing some research and its nearly impossible to clarify if change is possible and what parts would it require to make a complete change (central screen, ntg 5.5 system, digital cluster...)

BE WARNED, WHAT ALL THE VIDEO DONT TELL YOU!
I have a 2015 C Class and managed to buy the complete media centre with speedo from a 2019 C43, the wiring harness connections are completely different! This actually goes for Any CClass that doesn’t come from factory with the virtual cockpit, the dash harness is completely different, unless you can get adapters which I haven’t been able to find, for now it doesn’t seem possible to retrofit into any other CClass regardless of year. Happy to share any pics if needed from the back of the units as it’s just sitting in my garage now!

Please dont try to retrofit the facelift digital cluster with a preface w205... nothing is gonna fully work because other ECUs that are tied to the Cluster are not present on your prefacelift car (mainly the "new" EZS213 instead of EIS222) better off just doing the W222 variant.

2020 C300-4Matic-AMG Line
I also have a 2020 C300 with the analog cluster. Would swapping it with a new digital cluster from the dealer require recoding?
