Typical dealer scam. Go to AliEpress it costs like $30 for both options the DISTRONIC star and the DISTRONIC styled LED star

Here you go mate, there are 2 colours one with the star in chrome and one with the star in gloss black. Tell the seller to send you pics in private, they don't put full pics because of copyright, he should have no problem showing it to you in private
Here you go mate, I think it looks better than the DISTRONIC star because the star itself is 3D not 2D, and it looks faaar better than the hollow LED star. As for whether it doesn't interfere with the radar or not, I'm not sure, it seems to look exactly like the DISTRONIC star from the back just with a small housing for the LEDs (check the pics yourself), you might want to check with the seller.

When a local garage mechanic damaged the chrome part on mine, I found a replacement (genuine, new) on eBay for $120.
