People, who have access to the W205 Mercedes Service Repair Workshop Manual, can you please look up the torque specs for front and rear shocks and rear spring assembly? If it matters it is the 2016 C300 4 Matic. TIA

Front:
Upper Strut (3 nuts): 61 Nm
Lower Strut (1 bolt): 95 Nm, plus an additional 45 degree turn.
Steering Knuckle Nut: 50 Nm, plus an additional 45 degree turn.

Steering Knuckle Nut

Rear:
Upper Shock (2 bolts): 36 Nm
Lower Shock (1 bolt): 60 Nm, plus an additional 60 degree turn.

The rear coil spring has no fasteners and is held in place by a combination of vehicle weight and spring force.

What kind of wrench did you use for #4 above? 32mm 12-point comb wrench?

I assume once it tightened using a 32 mm wrench and hold withing Torx bit after a certain point perhaps a 32mm socket could be used to toque to 50nm plus 45deg?

I wrestled with that same issue, so I tightened it with the wrench while holding the center with the torx until I felt like it was good and tight. I'm pretty sure I torqued it beyond specs, but I'm not worried about it myself.

Thanks for this! I was looking for these torque specs all over the place. I got my rear shocks installed last night, it was a super easy job.
