W205 C250 PETROL
Interior lighting , Door open. not working
hi,
I just bought my first Mercedes(bmw owner for over 10 years), a W205 C250 petrol, model year 2015. amg interior and exterior. I'm in love with the car.
I have the car for a couple of days now and I noticed at night, when I open the car and enter the car. there are no lights turning on. I have to manually press the light button on the roof so I can see anything.
I do have ambient lights (blue) but even at the brightness 5 their not so bright to illuminate the car for a couple of seconds when you open the door to have some visuality of what's inside the car.
on all of my older cars(bmw) when you open the car door, the interior lights turn on for a couple of seconds (maybe 5-10 seconds) and when you close the door they shut off.
is it something that can be changed in the settings? or is it a fuse that's broken? or maybe some kind of sensor malfunction?

Please tell me how to dim the light. It comes off as too bright.
