Changing Transmission fluid/filter transmission 722.969

I am trying to replace the transmission fluid for my 2016 c300 4matic, but when I go to take off the bolts holding the pan on I am unable to reach one of the bolts. The transmission crossmember bracket is blocking the way. I do not have a swivel torx socket and am unsure if one would even fit. My 3cm long torx socket is too long and won't fit. I do not like the idea of taking off transmission crossmember bracket as I have never done that before, but I'm not sure what to do at this point. I've seen people take the bracket off before and simply supported it with a jack, but I don't want to mess anything up by missing something. Any advice would be appreciated!
