Did you know at night when the car in front of you with no taillights on and there' no other cars around,
the Mercedes automatically turn on high beam at the car in front with no taillights on (if you have automatically high beam on).
that's intelligent. haha

Has what? If you're referring to netboy's alleged problem, my first Mercedes was a W203 (see my Signature below). I don't recall having this problem, either with that car or my present W205. I do remember two or three times driving in my present MB behind cars with no taillights on. This included pulling up right behind them at stop signs. Perhaps their rear reflectors were bright enough to trigger my low beams. If I did notice the problem, I would simply pull the multi-purpose stalk toward me to turn off the high-beams. I probably wouldn't remember this later. I would remember having switch to manual control, if that happened. Anyway, it's not your fault; they're the ones driving with illegal, faulty equipment.
