I just discovered this.
Looks like it simply replaces the factory Burmester app and gives you an additional 4v preout to add an additional trunk subwoofer, plus DSP software.
The mObridge MOST150 amplifier features 8x full-range outputs, a dedicated subwoofer channel and an additional preout for external subwoofer amplifiers.
6x 175W Channels
2x 500W Channels
1x 500W Subwoofer Channel (or 1000W @ 2 Ohms)
1x 4V RMS preout
An additional subwoofer pre-out give a 4v RMS output to give you the flexibility to add a second powered subwoofer to enhance your audio experience further.
New member here, just picked up a 2021 C43 Coupe last week. At first, I thought the Burmester system sounded decent, but after a little time I think I'm starting to see what people don't like. This looks great if it works well, has anyone tried one of these yet?
What would be the best way to hook this up? Skip the center channel or I guess a small single-channel amp could also be added?
6x 175W Channels @ 4ohms -> 2x front door components, 2x rear side panel (coax?), 2x rear deck
2x 300W Channels @ 4ohms -> 2x frontbass
1x 500W Subwoofer Channel @ 4ohms (or 1000W @ 2 Ohms) -> Add a subwoofer in the trunk, this is more than enough for me as I just want full sound not maximum boom
1x 4V RMS preout -> ??? small amp for center?
Other than the slight awkwardness regarding the center, this really looks attractive and keeps the number of components down.
