I just made these and published to my personal website. Easy to order
Looking at all the threads & forums, I've designed and produced a drop in fix for similar issues that people are describing. Took the best of all the solutions, and made it easier to order IMO. Dropping this for help!

Hi guys,
My C220d 2016 makes an awful like "rattle / creek" when I'm driving down the road, when I open it ever so slightly and continue driving it goes silent, does any one know if these clips will fix it

I just got my set of clips from the French guy. The problem is that only a corner of my sunroof opens and then gets stuck so I can’t get it fully open to install the clips. Has anyone been able to somehow get the roof to slide open with this same issue? Trying to avoid dropping the headliner… 2016 C450

"I live in the United States and bought the one from France. They were shipped from France in about 3 days. I received the part about 9 days after they were shipped. I installed it this morning and it worked! You will likely need to adjust the bracket/glass a bit lower on that side. I just loosened the two Torx T25 bolts, moved the glass down about 2mm or so and retightened. Then I closed the sunroof and it fit nearly perfect. The Mercedes spec is that the sunroof sits from between 0 to 2mm above the adjacent fixed glass. Use a credit card the compare the sunroof glass to the fixed piece of glass when the sunroof is closed.
Can't speak to how long the part or sunroof will work. But it did open and close the 4 times I needed it to. It is now in the closed position and I will never use it again.
Thank you to the developer in France who 3D printed this piece. Saved me between $2,000 and $3,500. It is a genius design."
Somehow, you have to separate the glass from those front slider mounts, which is held on with the aforementioned T25 bolts. I believe I undid then bolts on both front sides of the sunroof, yet only replaced one of the sides (which was broken). I was kind of thinking I should have ordered 2 of those clips so I had a spare if the other side ever broke. But I don't use the sunroof glass anymore after I got it all back together and adjusted.

Did you drop the headliner? I have the issue where only a corner of the sunroof pops open. It won’t physically slide back and fully open so I don’t have access to the clips to make the repair. I’ve tried gently prying it open and pushing up from underneath but still can’t get it to slide back and open fully.

Hi FlyboyUSA, I bought your clips a while ago and finally fitted to my car but one side of the sunroof doesn't sit flush and sticks out, I can hear wind noise, other side is OEM and not changed, that side sits fine. Please advise?

If I understand it correctly, there are 2 clips per side. Seems one clip is broken on mine, and I've ordered the french ebay fix, does anyone know if I need to try and remove the other clip before installing the fix? If so how easy is that to do? I;m not quite clear, any help would be great.

broken clip on 2015 c63s looking for updated clips
flyboyusa, ran into a broken clip on my 2015 c63s and came across this thread. gotta say, big props for putting the time into making these clips, looks like you’ve helped a ton of people dodge an expensive dealer fix. just wondering if you’re still offering the updated ones.. i’d be down to grab a set if you’ve got some available. i appreciate the work you put in on this!
