My Strut is oil leak

I have my w205 C300 with Sport package. I saw a few oil drop on ground last week. I went to MB Dealer to check, they said that my Driver Front Strut is oil leak and that need to be replaced at a cost of 1200 USD.

I have the CPO Warranty till 100K mile. But they did not cover that thing. Anyone can help me find the cheap used part ?

Why the CPO is not cover my Strut

Part is :

I suggest buying coilovers, you don’t have to make it lower just keep it the same size. Up to you, but it cost less than 1 factory strut. BC Racing Coilovers is my suggestion.

CPO doesn’t cover gas/oil strut(shock absorber), glass, and battery. It covers air suspension struts though. I guess the dealer quoted only the part (front air strut is $1,200/ea). Check with other dealers or MBusa.

He doesn't have air suspension, or his strut would be covered under CPO, so they couldn't have quoted only parts (unless they made a ridiculous mistake by quoting an air suspension part). I think they quoted parts + labor, but somewhere the price is too high... OP, I'd look elsewhere.
