One Loud Thump Upon Slow Braking

Hi guys, hope everyone is well.
I’ve noticed this happening more and more as it gets colder here in Chicago.
I do not drive fast or brake hard at all, I’m the guy people tailgate and swerve around haha.
But when I brake slowly, which is almost every time, there is one loud “thump” from the rear of the car. Most of the time it’s on the rear passenger side, but occasionally it sounds like more on the drivers rear side or the rear center. Just one clunk/thump each time.
You can actually feel it under your feet on the floor, my girlfriend has even felt it under her feet from the passenger seat.
This does not happen when I go over bumps.
I installed brand new pads and rotors at the shop I work at with new tires about 4 months ago.
I’ve raised the car and checked all the bolts and pads to make sure they’re tight and lined up correctly.
Has anyone dealt with this before? I’m really having some issues finding the cause of this and it’s quite annoying.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

W205, X253, C190, W213,
Every time or just once each drive? Might just be the caliper shifting. I've had that on my E class.

Unfortunately it’s almost every time I come to a stop. I would say it happens 75% of the time.
It wouldn’t be a bad idea to take apart the rear brakes and make sure I didn’t accidentally lose a pad shield when installing or maybe one of the holding springs on the rear is loose/missing.

Maybe I didn’t quite seat the pads right and it’s a hot spot on the rotor?
