I need replace cluster at my W205 I found used cluster in great condition same part number as mine Do I need coding it and transfer crossed kilometars and if I need coding with transfer my kilometars do it will it make for me me official Mercedes workshop?
my work fine but I make cosmetic damage with finger and polish wax seen at this photo.

If the part numbers are the same you will not need coding-----correcting the mileage is a very different story withe very specialized tool. Like most you are better off noting the correct mileage on your registration and happy driving ,
Are you sure that will all work? and just kilometars stay different I’m South East Europe and I don’t know who have special tool for flash cluster and put in my kilometars in the ODO section cluster.

regarding mileage correction -----see your local authority about noting correct mileage on registration----do they allow????
I’ll do it about correct kilometars I’ll ask my autorithy on registration.
Maybe at the my local Mercedes workshop replace my kilometars now when I know that no needed coding. Today I talking with Mercedes workshop guy about this troub. he say maybe he can do it but he’s not sure becauze he newer do that with used cluster he replaced only new on the some other Mercedes car.
But without coding maybe it will work. Thank you at this info.
