High Mileage W205s? What's your W205 mileage?
I looked through the threads, but didn't see any threads about mileage and it's something that always interested me. In some of my other forums I've always seen a thread like this so thought I would start one. If there is one and I just missed it, Mods please feel free to delete this.
If you'd like to participate, please note your year, model, mileage, and location!
I can start off. It's not a high mileage, but I just picked up a 2018 C300 (turbo 4 engine) with 35000 miles and am in NJ, USA.

On the forums a lot of time we hear about problems, and I like to hear about some of the good things and how far these cars can go!

The car has run beautifully and has thus far been nothing but reliable. Gas mileage is great and maintenance is not that expensive; however, if you choose the sport package/ AMG line suspension and live in a place with less than perfect roads (NY or MI for example), you have to ditch the run-flats! Run-flat tires in combination with the sport suspension on bumpy roads can be a bit harsh as well as loud on this otherwise very quiet car; so much that it erodes the utility of having the run-flats. The down side is obviously that the trunk (boot for you UK folks) doesn’t have enough room for a spare tire, and should you ever get a flat, you are waiting on the side of the road until a tow truck arrives (only a flatbed if you have the 4matic option).
The biggest issue that seems to be plaguing the w205 is the cracked piston/blown wrist pin issue for which there are several threads posted on this forum. From what I can tell, that issue seems to be linked to irregular oil changes and/or using low-grade gasoline (read 87/88).

she now has 115k miles, sitting pretty as i bought another daily driver 🤣
the breaks & rotors live forever on these cars, i’ve only done them once (i wanted, not needed) and they look as if i did them yesterday (i did them over a year ago)
just over 20k miles a year, no complaints really..
weirdest thing to happen/stop working was my SAT radio receiver
(under the trunk floor to the right if you’re standing at your trunk) -
got one at a yard for $100 plugged & played.

Mine is just under 45,000. Bought it in January with 42,000 on the clock. It's pretty flawless.
Both are 2015 C400s.

the bi-turbo puts more stress on components? .e.g. spark plugs require change more frequently from what I've read...

yeh i’ve read that turbo cars, especially these w205 c300 run hot, they do take about 7.5 quarts of oil- these are single turbo 4 cyl engines.
more stress in a sense of more heat, for sure.
but almost 4 years of ownership and the transmission and engine have been bulletproof. as long as you stay on top of oil changes and repairs it’s just like any other car

I did see Flexx Alexander on his YouTube channel upgrade some parts (C300) to make it run cooler and for small gains.
