Differential fluid change

After taking car for service A, I was suggested to do a differential fluid change. Car is at 40K and never has had it done. However I can't figure out how the front and rear diffs look on my model. I have a 2017 C300 base.

Looked at my owners manual. Front and rear axle differential oil changes are for 4matic and AMG vehicles. My car is neither. So I take it the service doesn't apply to me, even though the dealer suggested it?

W205 is either awd or rwd. See if you have an unicorn with fwd without rear differential.

Got rear differential done today. About 1 hour of work. Needed two screw plugs (352-997-00-32) and the gear oil (001-989-33-03-12, Google search also calls it transmission oil). Dealer wanted $265.

You can reuse the plugs and just buy the differential oil, 1L needed.

You can time it at the same time as your transmission oil change.
