2015 NTG5 died. Best replacement options?
Hi, my 2015 W205 NTG5 Comand unit has died.
I am looking at all my options so I can make the most of this unfortunate event.
I have Burmeister Sound, reverse Camera, and factory 8.4" display with factory navigation. Bluetooth will only allow me to connect 1 device at a time.
If i was to upgrade to NTG5.2 or NTG5.5, will i retain the Burmeister sound, and gain the ability to connect 2 phones via Bluetooth at the same time?
I believe post 2015 models also had Car Play and Android Auto.
Appreciate all help. thanks in advance.
Note: the dealership will want to replace with another NTG5, but given the expense, i'd like to gain some extra functionality.

Have a look in AliExpress so many aftermarket 12.5" multifunction multimedia screens. They fit perfectly. I bought one for my car and I love it.

I have one awaiting to be installed but without a working comand module, the 8 4" screen is blank and I can't control the AC temp or see other adjustments.

so you need a new command module? I thought installing a new screen will solve the problem as you will be using the functions on the actual screen.

The Comand NTG5 is still required for audio via optical and also for video output of car settings.
