I am in the processing of purchasing my first Mercedes. It does come with the C 43 AMG 19" wheels.

Not my favourite color, might switch them to the silver model instead. But one thing I don't like with these wheels is how they sit in the wheel house.
They are way to far in. Has anyone tried to space them out to get a more flush fitment on their W205?

I might also go another route, maybe get some wider wheels that fit better, the car is equipped with this option: "Widened wheel arches for AMG wheels". Does this allow me to go for wider wheels? What's the limit here?

That's interesting. As far as I know, the only W205 with wider wheel arches is the C63, and if you look at the front you can see the wider track and different fenders from all the other models.
Regarding spacers...search the forum...I believe several people have done them on non-AMG cars.
Those wheels are also standard on the C180/200/300 sport or AMG line models.
