Hello, I am following this forum for a long time. This is my first post. I am asking for help from someone who has experience with electric instalations.
I bought this ambient light kit from ebay. Seller has sent me some totally unrelated manual. I watched all the videos on internet and none of them was similar like mine kit. Flexx made a good video but it is no use for me. I made one PDF with all the harness included and problems to solve. Please take a look at PDF file and please post if you have some proposal how to solve this problem.
I would REALLY REALLY like to install this kit. Also, I bought LED air vent kit but I think that there will not be much problem with that.
Thank you in advance

One more thing, my car does not have ambient light originally

My car has factory ambient light. I am trying to figure out where to connect the end cables of the LED turbine air vents. I know its somewhere in the driver's side fuse box. I don't know if its a DIY.

You mentioned LED air vents and you said its not a problem. I replied and said its not as simple as you think. I responded to an incorrect statement you mentioned in your post. You need to calm down and be friendly specialy that you are new here.

Below is an installation guide for a 3 colour ambient light. I hope it will help:

Thank you for your help.
I checked all the manuals available on internet (including incarpassion manuals) and watched all the videos available but none is similar to mine.
We have installed many LED air vents (there are several system in the market) and they were relatively easily installed.

Ok is Easy, you mentioned you don't have OEM Ambient light then did you get an OBD with it as you will need that to activate the Ambient functions
let's Start

1) Driver Door - 11 and 12 Correct plug that into the Door control module to get the Power from it, 13 you can use to Connect to 3D Tweeter 14 Will Fellow below as its got to do with Door Plugs i'll Explain Below and 15 is Extra no need to worry about, and 16 is correct it goes to the Light tube you should have 2 Lights.

2) 81 Connects to 14 and then the pins have to go through the Door Plug i have Uploaded Video below

3) Passenger Door - 51 and 52 Connect to Door Module and Connect 53 and 54 to Light tubes and 55 Connects to 3D Tweeter and 56 Ignore Extra.

4) Rear Door - 23 and 24 Connect to Door Module and Connect 21 and 22 to Light tubes and 25 Ignore Extra.

5) Rear Door - 43 and 44 Connect to Door Module and Connect 41 and 42 to Light tubes and 45 Ignore Extra.

Now the Centre Console
63 pins have to Match with the Door plugs pins you did Earlier (2) and then 61 Connects to 35 and 62 Connects to 73

71 and 72 are your Front Foot Well light you need to change them from OEM to this

Hope i answered all your Question

dear friend,
thank you very much for this post.
You have explained it all. Looking forward to install this kit.
i have received OBD but it all in Chinese and I find it impossible to enable ambient light option. So, I will solve this in MB dealer shop, they will do the coding.
I hope that everything will work fine. I will upload pictures as soon as we install it.
thank you very much once more

Can you send pictures of the plugs that you have? Similar to the manual you posted, I had those similar plugs and retrofitted them onto my CLS. I even posted pictures on my thread.

I was wondering if you could help me, I have a mercedes w205 2016 and I already had the standard 3 colour ambient kit, I just bought the 64 colour ambient kit and already had installed it to the doors but I have been trying to make the ambient lights turn on but they won't, the kit did not include obd connector because I had already the standard kit but I can't figure out how to make the ambient light work when I don't have obd and I can't find any help on the Internet.

How the 64 color ambient kit should work like? I found there were a few after market installs, some used the wheel buttons, door side buttons as the trigger point. I bought one as well but it's triggered with the original system configuration.

If you were having the one I ordered, I remembered when installing the left door, where the main module is located, you will need to unplug the #3 wire from the harness and plug the 64 color one into that.
Here's the video I took reference from:
