First, thanks for having me. Lots of great info here.
I have a new to me w205 with 30K on it. Condition checked out to be very good. A couple questions please:

• After only five days of ownership I have the 'Auxiliary Battery Malfunction' code every four seconds on the display. Quite annoying in so many ways. I have read some threads and checked the fuse #448 in the trunk. All was good and I still have the error code. Is there anything I should alert the dealer to so they don't just replace the auxiliary battery, allowing the error code to persist days later?
• For left hand drive cars, where do you keep your right hand on the center console? It seems that the slightest miss movement of ones hand changes radio stations and settings. Or should i ask; what do you have on your dash flatscreen while driving so the right hand doesnt inadvertently disrupt too much?

I really like the car. So far. Hopefully gremlins will not continue.

Was the auxiliary battery (voltage regulator under passenger side) changed? I would recommend that first since it is the most common part to fail. Maybe dealer will cover it since you just bought it.

 

Welcome to Benz Community. I changed my Auxiliary battery once and never saw any aux battery malfunction messages again. Changed at the dealer.

As for the second i keep both hands on my steering wheel for better control on the car.
