W205 Turbo Flutter ?

This is the first I've heard of such a thing. I haven't googled it or anything, but if I had to make a guess, I'd say it's most likely some kind of warble whistle device in a BOV. Adding a BOV and venting to atmosphere goes against MB design and engineering, but I understand some enjoy sounds more than efficiency and performance

You basically can get the sound louder with more boost, and a really loud manual BOV. Definitely works very well with a much bigger turbo!
You can get away sometimes with an electronic bov and a vta spacer, but a manual bov can be controlled better.

What you are looking at is the turbo flutter when the throttle is closed. the sound is due to the release of air through the BOV.
You basically can get the sound louder with more boost, and a really loud manual BOV. Definitely works very well with a much bigger turbo!

the interesting thing that the 2009-2016 Audi S4's Turbo flutters and it has I believe a turbo muffler not a BOV which made me think about it, for me I have a BOV which is loud and nice but the flutter sound is more aggressive and nicer.
