Battery cover stuck to windshield

I am trying to remove the battery cover from a 2015 C300. I unlocked 6 clips on the cover, but only able to tilt it up, not able to remove it. It seems to be attached to the windshield. Did anyone have this problem before?

Whenever I try taking that cover off, the top left edge always get caught under the passenger side wiper blade.

The wipers have a position to change the blades. Try putting them in that position.

Who has the time? I just always to lift the blade end out of the way.
