sunroof problem

Hi

I have got a C-Class W205 and yesterday when I had this problem in my sunroof (see photos). Do you know if is it possible to manually close the sunroof?

Yesterday I disassembled the part next to the rear-view mirror where the button to open and close the roof is found but I didnt see any nut to insert an allen key.

Any comment is welcome...

Thanks in advance

Yeah this is a common enough failure. Search for issues on pano roof not closing. As for manual closing, I don't think so on the pano roofs, could be mistaken.

Both of my front mount guides broke one day. I was able to open it up about halfway and get the front mounts back into the track and then I slowly closed it. It is locked down and has stayed sealed from water leaks. The dealer wants to pull the headliner out to access the bolts holding everything in, it's an expensive repair. I bought some guides and I'm trying to figure out if I want to repair it myself someday. Somebody on here made some guides with a 3D Printer that are modified to install without taking the whole roof apart, I haven't seen an update on that.

First of all, thanks for your replies...

How were you able to open it? Do you need someone's help for this?

At least, I want to be able to close it on both sides and be able to circulate with the car but I am afraid of forcing it and breaking it more. At this moment, with the sunroof button, I canīt be able to open the sunroof...
I saw a video of a guy manually opening a panoramic roof on a Mercedes van

This is why I think there must be some way to be able to close it manually

Even if there is a screw to close and open the roof, your track guide came off the rail. You have to pop that back in if you want to close the roof like previous user mentioned.

I mean feel free to make holes on your headliner if you think otherwise and report back.
