The Rear-SAM is the circuit board attached to the under side of the rear fuse board.
It's a full fledged module with hardware and software that manages power for a hand full of modules in conjunction with the Front-SAM.
SAMs measure signals and receive orders through CAN networks to control power relays as needed.
