Door panel TRIM removal
Anyone knows how to remove the speaker and trim from the door panel? My dog chewed up the door panel so I am trying to install a new one that I have but I can't get the damn trim from the old door panel without breaking the silver pinch tabs on the inside of the removed door panel. Because of that I cannot even remove the speaker as it is attached to the trim I believe.

Any suggestions and tips would be really really appreciated Kush bhai 😉
Ah got it. Yeah I broke off 2 silver tabs but the trim does not seem to budge as yet. Maybe I need to break all of them before it moves but do you have any tips or suggestions in terms of removing the trim and speaker along with the wires? Fortunately the new door panel has new silver clips in them so I will just have to push the trim in to the new panel and not have to use hot glue.

The entire trim should pop off so you'll technically have 2 pieces. 1: the actual door panel and 2: the trim that houses the speaker. Once the trim is disconnected from the door panel, you should be able to freely remove the speaker with all wires intact. I've never taken the speaker off so this is just my thought.
LMFAO bhai bhai 😉

I saved this for a speaker upgrade at some point

Yup! I was going to send you the same video. I used Flexx's video to do my ambient lighting which shows the removal process of the door trim. It also shows the process of what to break off and where to Hot Glue. Hope the video helps!

I second this - I got it all installed and working like brand new. If I had to do it again I probably would be able to do everything in 30 minutes - what I intended to do - which is replace the door panel with a new one. I had to break the silver clips that hold the wooden trim together and then the trim just fell off and the speakers just popped off. Wiring was easy to take off from the panel and install onto the new panel. Window switch was also super easy to get off and install back into the new panel.
