Hi everyone !!

I have a 2016 C63 AMG and I installed a applecarplay module around December 2020 and it worked perfectly up until now.

Whilst using applecarplay (I use wired connection as I like to charge my phone and I feel the applecarplay is more responsive with it) anyways as I’m using applecarplay the enfotainment will cut from the applecarplay screen to the original Mercedes screen then around 20 seconds later back to apple CarPlay then after another 20 seconds back to Mercedes’ and will keep doing this in my journey

As it does it everything still working in the background. However if it cuts to the Mercedes’ screen I can’t manually put it back to the applecarplay menu until it jumps back into that screen, but when I’m in the applecarplay menu it will allow me to jump back and forth

this is the software and everything I haven’t updated it since I got it

it was working perfectly before I went on holiday and came back after 3 weeks and now it does this

What is the make / model of the carplay module ? Have you contacted the seller ? Have you just upgraded your iPhone to iOS15 ?

hi this is going to sound silly now, I got bored in the evening so took the centre console off as only held down my 2 screws, and I found a cable that fell out of its crimp so I recrimped it seems fine now but haven’t gone for a proper drive (only drove around block) hopefully all good

I also forgot to take a picture of the module whilst I was there so stupid
