2018 C300 4matic
Minimum tire tread

Hello everyone,
I have 2018 C300 4matic with Continental tires. Front tires still have 6mm and rear tires have 7mm tread left. I was told by MB Vancouver that soon I should change my tires. I only have 23000 miles (around 37000 km) on it. is it really time to change my tires?
Since we are at it my front Break pads are at 10mm 83% and rear break pads are at 8mm or 72%. how much more have I got left until I need to change them as well?
I live in Vancouver Canada.

thanks in advance.

Pro Continental tire

It’s time to change the tires when the wear bars are level with the tread. That’s at 2mm. However, in snow country, I wouldn’t go that long. You’re probably good for this winter. Next service you will probably be ready. Low tread will have a serious effect on traction. You are about 1/2 way to the absolute lowest you can go.

2016 C300 4Matic traded in for a 2022 E450 Coupe
Don’t buy tires at the dealer unless you just enjoy throwing money away. Use Discount Tire or a local, trusted tire shop.

I would say that the dealer can price match. Certainly shop around. Again, you don’t need to do anything yet.

scheduled for Jan 24th. Must be a lot of cars to fix in Florida. Remove and repair the bumper. Won’t know about the sensor until the bumper is off.

Isn’t Canadian Tire the go-to place for tires in the Great White North?

You're fine on brake pad lining. I'd wait until you're at 20 percent life remaining on either the front or rear pads.

Once they're at 20 percent or see an indicator on the instrument panel, have the brake job done within a month or so.

This. Don't go winter showing wear bars or even close.
