Thoughts on Tire Width - 19" AMG Twin 5 Spoke
Hello everyone, trading in my wife's 2013 C300 4matic with the AMG package for a 2019 CPO C300 with almost every single available option and only 11K miles... crazy deal especially in this climate.
My question is this has the AMG 5-spoke w. black accents listed as option 604 on the build sheet, should I run the tires recommended in terms of sizes? Fronts 225/40-19 Rears 255/35-19
I know it isn't a great idea to put larger sidewalls on as it can mess up the odometer and other things, but I have read mixed reviews on the width. My goal is to keep the 19's on and make it as smooth a driver as I can since it will be my wife's primary car. It is RWD however, so I am also looking to get the best all around tire for dry and wet driving. I am not concerned with snow as we have an SUV she can drive if the weather is that bad.
Would going with 235's or 245's on the front and 265's or 275's on the rear provide any noticeable ride improvement.
