Extended Warranty for High-Mileage C300

My 2019 C300 is about to turn 3 years old. I have to drive a lot - the car is at about 57k miles right now. I recently received a form letter from my dealership that my factory warranty coverage is about to expire, and to call them to discuss extended warranty options they offer.

There is a good likelihood that in 12-18 months I will buy a 2023 C300. I am not ready to replace my 2019 until then. So, given the amount of miles I put on my car, and the age of my car, I'd like a 1- or 2-year extended warranty. I want an MB warranty, not a 3rd party's.

My questions are:
  1. Does my car have too many miles to even make me eligible for the extended warranty?
  2. I've seen Jeff Jackson mentioned on this forum as the person to call for competitive prices, but those are old posts. Is he still a good contact person? Ay other recommendations?
  3. Other things to look out for/be aware of when purchasing an MB extended warranty?
Thanks.

TBH 57k is seriously NOT high mileage…not by a long shot. More so for a car living in the states, Canada, Australian etc etc, countries whereby people drive a lot.

Hell, I live in Japan and my car has done 90,000k and it’s only a 2018 model he he he.

In saying that, if there is an opportunity to extend the warranty then perhaps you should do that if you plan on keeping it!?

Other than that, you ought to pose those specific Q’s to the dealership you normally go through.

I help lots of MBWorld members with their warranty search on out of warranty Mercedes-Benz, below is going to be the information for both Fidelity Platinum and Freedom Warranty Complete Manufactures Extension on your 2017 Mercedes-Benz C300. Each provider offers different values, but both are comparable when it comes to claim and dealer / service center acceptance.

Freedom Warranty:
60 months / up to 100k miles
$100 deductible
-$3,285
60 months / up to 125k miles
$100 deductible
-$3,685

Fidelity Platinum :
60 months / additional 60k miles:
$100 deductible
-$5,896

Let me know if you want to see any other terms, or if you'd like to get that Fidelity price down, we can increase yourdeductible. For quotes, questions, and example contracts, reach out at (855) 924-1333 or tgibson@highline-autos.com
