Do you have any tips or tricks for installing the DMP screen? My pops wanted to order one for my mom's 2018 C300, and didn't know if it was something we can do at home or needs to be done by a car audio installer.
Kush is right, take your time and don't force things and you can do this at home, no problem. Give yourself at least 5-6 hours so you don't feel rushed. I second Kush's advice of watching Flexx Alexander's install video multiple times before you do it. Made it SO much easier for me.
Once I get everything completed I will do a write-up similar to my other threads, but it will be weeks from now until I can get to it. In the meantime, I at least want to share how I configured the external speaker, GPS antenna and 4G antenna. Not saying what I did is "the right way", but the way I did it can save a lot of time, save from running wires all over the place and save from having antennas stuck everywhere looking ugly as s*it.
I was able to get all 3 items under the center dashboard speaker cover, secured with double-sided tape. GPS signal and 4G signal are great, no issues for me. (the 4G antenna fits perfectly in the grille space diagonally - requires a bit of force to get it in there but it's good and flush.)
You may also notice in the pic above where I placed the external microphone... nicely hidden behind the screen... who wants to look at that stupid thing?

I will post basic write-ups for each of the major components (screen, lighting and steering wheel) whenever I get some time to put it together. For now, I'm definitely enjoying what I have so far!
Very Nice! How has the screen upgrade been doing for you? I've been eye balling the DMP screen for my C63 but don't see many reviews about it from users on the forums (most seem to purchase other brands).

The screen and hardware has been perfect! I've had no issues with anything DMP has supplied and the bigger screen is SO much better.
The only issue I'm having is finding a good car launcher that has a decent moving map that can be easily read while driving. Still haven't found a great solution for that. Lately, I've been just displaying the stock NTG Navi display on the screen. In full screen it stretches the stock Navi display somewhat left-to-right, but at least the stock Navi display is good and consistent.
That's great to hear! I just activated AUX, I've read that pretty much solves all audio issues. I will probably end up with the 10" version but I the specs outside of screen size are all the same.

Smart move for sure. You definitely want to use AUX IN. I first connected the audio to NTG using the supplied USB adaptor and the sound was not as "sharp" and I had an audio delay that was very apparent while playing a video and movie/TV.
The DMP harness has a 3.5mm female audio-in pigtail. Just plug the 3.5mm male audio-out from the Android screen to this pigtail on the harness, choose AUX as your Media Interface in NTG and you'll have a direct clean audio signal.
Quick question, why do you use full screen for NTG mode vs the split screen?
When setting the NTG display to "half-screen", which is actually more like two-thirds/one-third, the right-hand side is filled-in by default by the Andriod system as a big blue circle with a small digital speedometer in the center which looks stupid to me. I already have 2 speedometers in the instrument cluster, I don't need a third, lol.
There may be a way to change this, but I don't really care enough about it to chase it down.
New screen was delivered today! At first glance I am pretty impressed. I wasnt expecting them to include plastic tools to remove the panels. Instructions look pretty solid too.

Awesome! Yeah, I thought that was really cool to get the trim tools included too. I didn't get any instructions, but Flexx's YouTube videos are perfect for this.
