Hey everyone, sorry if this is in a wrong thread I am new here. I was just concerned as I have a 2018 C300 with 36k miles that threw out a P219C error code. I have a Maxcare warranty under it, and its at a Mercedes dealer right now. They are currently doing a teardown to determine the cause. They said after doing compression tests that it is likely a cracked piston, but could be an issue with the valves or fuel injectors. I am just worried because even though I do have an extended warranty, if this issue is deemed outside of the powertrain warranty I will owe north of 7000 USD for all these tests, and that doesn't even include repairing the car. Can anyone give me some insight on this issue, as well as your thoughts? I would really appreciate it!
