To summarise you have 2 choices - change the physical screen for an Android version or install a 'box' (also Android) into your car which uses the existing screen. Either option gives CarPlay and Android Auto.

Another more recent solution (mentioned by the previous post) is a box that has android running inside and like a mini computer. I believe one of the sponsors (I believe their name was Mandel) on this forum sells it. Personally never used it so I am not sure how well it works or if it works though, please do some research before deciding.
