Mine is close to failing now. It's a late 2019 battery. The shop I go to quoted me ~$400 for the replacement + labor. Does anyone recommend I go elsewhere to get a battery or is that a fair price? This is the first time replacing the battery in this car. C300 4Matic 2016

Well, mine threw the low battery warning while I was running errands yesterday, so replaced it today with the Duracell unit from Batteries+. Turned it on in the garage, but haven’t started it. Found a tip in another thread about putting a trickle charger on the car while you replace the battery, saves all your settings. I pulled out and cleaned the battery tray too.
Original battery, July 2014 build date! I couldn’t find a date on the battery though.

Still on my original as well, 2015 C400.

'18 CPO, factory battery died around 30k miles last year. Got a Duralast platinum and did it myself, but had to warranty swap it last month (only about 17 months old). Not sure if the poor-mans start/stop fix (unplugged connector at battery) was the culprit or I have a slow parasitic drain. I ended up reconnecting the start/stop plug and fixing permanently with Vediamo (only took a few hours!).
I am in a warm climate where batteries generally don't last more than a few years btw.

After replacing the battery, resetting the electrical charge throughput to 0.00 Ah may be helpful. (N10/6 Front SAM -> Actuations -> Confirmation of battery change -> "Check mark" -> Continue). Will it save the battery life ? or can the car adjust it intelligently ? I'm not sure if it's a must or not.
