I've been experiencing erratic shifting issues, the car will jerk when taking off and sometimes get stuck in higher gears. Occasionally check engine trips and when reading the codes it's also random as to what is failing. Took into MB dealership and the response is: oil dripping down the engine wiring harness into the ECU likely due to crank ventilation valve. Fix: replace wiring harness, crank vent valve, ECU = $7000. Has anyone experienced similar issues and/or experience doing a ECU repair rather than factory replace? Thank you in advance!
