Car is very hot on bonnet sides
Im new to mercedes, i own a w205 c220 2014 with 102k kilometers.
After 30 minutes run in the city with mixed usage of sport and comfort modes, when i park the car in the garage i noticed that the right and and left sides of the bonnet (near the head lamps, although the head lamps are not hot) are very hot, basically you cant keep your hand for more than 2-3 seconds on this area, the temperature gauge looks okay, its as attached in the image ( around 90 celecuis).
so as im new to this car, is this a problem or basically these cars tend to get hot after using them, is this normal?
Update1 :
i checked my coolant level and i think it needs a refill, check image

1) If your fluid level is low, yes, top it up.
2) 90C for coolant is in the normal range. The red line is the worry point and closer to 120.
3) Hands aren't always a good indicator for operating temperatures of cars and its various systems. I wouldn't worry bout it.

OP, welcome and good luck to you. Try searching the forum for more detailed questions/answers, for example on coolant. Did your car happen to come with an owner's manual? Often times that could be a good source for fluid type/information too.
Enjoy the ride!
