Hey all,

So I'd like my C400 to sound a bit better, but I know nothing about aftermarket exhaust.
I've watched some videos on YouTube with the AWE exhaust and a couple others, yeah they sound good but it's a lot more than I want to spend.
Surely there must be some other simpler options than replacing the whole exhaust? Are new downpipes what I'd be looking for? A new muffler?
I don't want an obnoxious sound, just something fruitier sounding.

are u doing install yourself?

I guess I’m really old. I have never heard of wanting a fruitier sound. What fruit?

Budget hopefully around $1000 or less, and I'd get a shop to do it.
Yeah fruitier ... Like more exciting, more flavorful, more substance to it.

Something like this sound: So a "muffler delete" is just removing the muffler? I would think that it would sound like some meth head stole the cats ... But in that video, it sounds good to me.

Take away the muffle and you can will rumble the inside of you are all the time.
