C450/C43 AMG P0128 Thermostat Remove/Install
As the title states.
Has anyone done this job? It's so frustrating that everything on Youtube is all around the simple C300 cars and nothing to do with the M276 Engines.
I used to make videos and used to get paid by Youtube but after Youtube changed everything to 10,000 Subs to get paid and I quiet because funds stopped. I just felt like I was not getting anything in return for helping.
That is just my 2 cents. :-)
For me, I have already done my interior on my own, brakes both front and rear, bearings front, remove front bumper and rear bumpers, install aftermarket blowoff values, installed exhaust and even spark plugs change as an example of some of things I made videos on as the first to do so.
Right now, the car normally runs at 90 degrees but lately it has been running at 85 degrees. I went to the Mercedes Dealership and they top up my coolant which got me thinking.. where did the coolant go. I don't see any smoke or hear anything weird or see any coolant on the driveway however I only see that the temperature never reached 90 degrees unless I let the car sit and not drive it.
Anyone else have this problem? My signature tells you everything about my car, so hope that helps.

Well it happened a lot on w204's with m272 so no surprise that is most videos. I haven't heard of anyone needing to replace on m276tt.
Do you have a code showing up?
Also it's 1,000 subs and 4,000 watch hours, not 10k subs

A small amount of coolant loss annually is normal.
I usually add a "splash" (cup?) of distilled water to my tanks yearly when i do oil changes.
Should be at the top of that white "T" when you look into the tank and the car is cold.
I have not heard of anyone needing to replace their t-stat housing. Coolant change interval is 150k miles, havnt gotten there yet.
