BOOT NOT OPENING OR CLOSING VIA KEY OR DOOR SWITCH!!
Good evening looking for some help, I had a customer try close my boot manually and after 3 slams the boot no longer opens or closes at the touch of a button whether it be via the key or the button in the drivers door compartment. However it does still lock and unlock just does not raise up or close unless done manually. Any help on a fix for this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Probably caused a strut failure or damaged mechanical components. You can manually close the trunk as long as you don't slam it, and you have to be careful because the trunk's obstacle detection might activate and trying to reverse direction. That in combination with the manual force can break some things. You can feel the resistance if trying to close it manually, so it has to be done gently.

It does not feel like there is resistance when closing manually it has to be closed quiet hard or it just springs back up I was hoping I could to some kind of reset to fix the problem

That sounds like the mechanism broke. There's no reset. Gonna have to open it up and inspect the mechanism.
