About a month ago I received a letter from Mercedes saying the intake line assembly warranty has been increased to 50 years/150,000 miles. I'll attach a pic of it below. For the past few months I've been getting a check engine light but it usually goes away. It has lately been on for about a month now. When I plug in the code reader is reads P052E, Positive Crankcase Ventilation Regulator Valve. Ive done some research and I can not get a clear answer if this code relates to the warranty extension.
I called the dealer and said they can't tell me until they diagnose it, but if the code is not related to the warranty extension I would have to pay the diagnosis fee.
Any insight would be so helpful. I know this is a common fault/problem on these cars, and I just want to make sure the extension does/does not cover this fault/error.

Thanks so much everyone. code letter
Hello hello,
Just got same letter....been waiting 2 years cause didnt want to py the $3000.00 to fix it......
P052E is exactly whats all about.
The stealership doesnt have choice to replace it for free now. Take your appointment.
My GLA has same problem. Checked with Mercedes Canada but they said the partial load ventilation valve extension warranty does not covered my vehicle.
Does not understand why GLA not included as the same part used in my 2018 GLA.
My car mileage only 60,000kl.
Does anyone has same issues?
Should I wait a bit to see if Mercedes will include GLA in future?
