W205 OEM license bracket front - help installation
Hi, I beg you for help.I bought the original license plate holder.Does anyone have installation instructions or know the easiest way to install it? Need to drill 3 holes under the grill? What diameter? Does the bracket just fasten automatically or does it need to be screwed on? I already have 3 holes drilled where it would have to be mounted (picture 1), but the hooks from the bracket don't go through them. I don't want to just drill bigger(wider) holes if that's not the case request.
The "hooks" fasten into the holes in the lower grill. When I removed my USDM bracket I unscrewed it first, then used pliers to squeeze the supports and pull to remove. To install, I'd probably start with the hook supports in the grill, make sure everything lines up then screw it down.

Apologies, I may have misunderstood - I'm not sure of the diameter needed for the screw posts. Unfortunately if you do use this bracket you may need to drill out the holes to a larger diameter. There are aftermarket options available that don't require holes in the bumper.
