i've been reading a lot that bms intakes are bad and works as a hot air intakes since it's uncovered next to the engine so im lost what should i get for my c300 coupe, and does a highflow downpipe add hp?

I installed K&N air filter and Armytrix down pipe and exhaust system. Not much additional HP but the sound is the real difference.

Those are some really expensive options but I think the BMS is a good upgrade and also has a heat shield. The purpose of such a system is to allow more air however you will have to do a dyno test to see if there are any ups or downs and test the setup or just go with what they state. Also for download cats you will also need to engine to be tuned for such a setup.
