2016 C300 Surged While in Park
Hi Everyone!
I pulled into a parking spot and put my car in park. It was still running, my feet were off the gas and the break. The car surged forward at a high rate of speed. I slammed on the brake with both feet to the floor and the car came to a stop after about traveling two feet. The passenger I. The back hit their head on the metal part of the passenger seat headrest.
Has anyone experienced this? I called Mercedes and they said they haven't heard of this happening before.

I know , seemed like the car would have been in drive. But it was definitely in Park . Almost broke my leg trying to stop the car with the brake . Finally was able to turn the car off . Very scary , like the old Audi issue from years ago
