Rust Hole in Sub Frame
Just had my 2015 C300 W205 in for service. Dealer found hole rusted through in rear sub frame. Mercedes has a 20 year extended warranty out for this exact problem on many different models ranging from 2005 to 2017 including the 2008- 2015 C300 W204. However I have a 2015 W205 so both the dealer as well as Mercedes ( I just called there ) said it's not covered.. Clearly it's the same issue. I even have pics from the dealership. I can't believe they won't stand behind this ! this is a serious safety issue so please have you car checked if it falls in these model years. My wife drives a fairly new Benz but this is making us rethink our next choice of car. By the way. I always have my service done at the dealership. Last time was 6 months ago. So this can appear pretty quickly
