Center console and controls not working + whining sound
Hi all, I own a 2017 C350e and haven't had any issues with the center console until today.
After the car was parked for about an hour, I returned to find the console and its controls completely unresponsive.
The only functions working were the hazards and the AC. I can't switch driving modes or use the air suspension.
Also, there's a whining sound coming from the console area, possibly the CD player trying to read a disk, even though I've never inserted one.
This noise stops and suddenly starts again every 30 seconds or so.
I had passengers, so I couldn't troubleshoot much on the spot. After returning home and restarting the car a few minutes later, the issue persisted.
I found similar posts but no resolution for them. Any ideas?
